The Italian Journal of Planning Practice (IJPP) is a Scopus-indexed, peer-reviewed and fully open-access journal with no submission nor publication fees.

IJPP welcomes any theme and any case study in planning practice from all over the world. The articles are published exclusively in English and free of charge.

IJPP aims at establishing a source of information on international planning practice. It is concerned with encouraging reflections and disseminating knowledge and research on the particular characteristics of planning practice to the widest possible readership, also considering comparative case studies as of fundamental importance for the understanding of planning practices.

The journal adheres to the BOAI definition of open access and all users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles published in IJPP.
